Owen Moeller

Studying Product Design at Parsons School of Design, my recent design work has been informed by the exploration of textile weaving processes and woodworking. My goal is to continue working with materials, processes and techniques in a variety of materials that help to develop a language and practice based in my love for the process of making.

While growing up in Nebraska, I immersed myself in various art classes from elementary through high school. During high school, I was fortunate to participate in the Joslyn Art Museum’s Kent Bellows Mentoring Program, where I was mentored by local artists and my work was showcased in exhibitions. Additionally, I took part in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, earning several gold and silver key recognitions; notably, two of my award-winning pieces were selected for inclusion in a 14-piece exhibit at the Governor's Mansion.
